چکیده
Abstract Commercialization of lead halide perovskite-based devices is hindered by their instability towards environmental conditions. In particular, water promotes fast decomposition, leading to a drastic decrease in device performance. Integrating water-splitting active species within ancillary layers the perovskite absorber might be solution this, as they could convert incoming into oxygen and hydrogen, preserving Here, we suggest that CuSCN nanoplatelete/p-type semiconducting polymer composite, combining hole extraction transport properties with oxidation activity, transforms molecules triggers situ p-doping conjugated polymer, improving photocharges. Insertion nanocomposite solar cell direct photovoltaic architecture causes stable performance for 28 days high-moisture Our findings demonstrate engineering layer possible additives viable strategy reduce impact moisture devices.

Solar water splitting cells.
Energy harvested directly from sunlight offers a desirable approach toward fulfilling, with minimal environmental impact, the need for clean energy. Solar energy is a decentralized and inexhaustible natural resource, with the magnitude of the available solar power striking the earth’s surface at any one instant equal to 130 million 500 MW power plants.1 However, several important goals need to ...

Here, the effect of lightly Niobium doped TiO2 layer on the performance of perovskite solar cells has been studied by using solar cell capacitance simulator (SCAPS). N addition, the effects of Niobium concentration, buffer film thickness and operating temperature on the performance of the perovskite solar cell are investigated. For doping level of 3.0 mol% into the TiO2 layer, cell efficiency o...
متن کاملEfficient solar-driven water splitting by nanocone BiVO4-perovskite tandem cells
Bismuth vanadate (BiVO4) has been widely regarded as a promising photoanode material for photoelectrochemical (PEC) water splitting because of its low cost, its high stability against photocorrosion, and its relatively narrow band gap of 2.4 eV. However, the achieved performance of the BiVO4 photoanode remains unsatisfactory to date because its short carrier diffusion length restricts the total...
متن کاملPlanar perovskite solar cells using fullerene C70 as electron selective transport layer
Owing amongst other to its high electron mobility, fullerene C70, has been widely used as an electron transporting layer in organic solar cells. In this research, we report the use of C70 thin films as electron transport layers of planar perovskite solar cells (PSCs) using a conventional device structure. The thickness of the C70 layer has been optimized to achieve the best efficiency of 12%. I...
